OUR MISSION
The NCCOPS Police Benefit Fund was founded to bring emergency relief in the form of information, financial aid, and emotional support in a “first responder” manner, to families who have lost a police officer from a violent offense in the line of duty.
OUR GOALS
- To be a first responder offering emotional and informational support
- Our support team will be able to assist with information gathering in order to apply for local, state, and federal benefits. We will make referrals to local and state support groups
- We can assist with immediate emergency financial benefits as needed on case by case basis

In Grateful Memory of NC State Trooper David Shawn Blanton Jr.
On Tuesday, June 17, 2008 Trooper David Shawn Blanton Jr. was shot and killed in the line of duty. Trooper Shawn Blanton was also husband and proud father of his 2 week old son, Tye.
NCCOPS Police Benefit Fund has provided $500.00 to The Trooper David Blanton Memorial Fund. Please consider making a contribution, no donation is too small!
There is nothing anyone can say to the family of the slain Trooper or Sergeant that will lessen their pain. What we can do is help them pay bills while they suffer a level of grief we all pray we will never know. We truly owe them that much.
